Dreaming with God

There is much to say that is on my heart, but I want to close this series with some final thoughts in Part 4 of this August theme! Dreaming with God for our lives can bring healing, strength, and a positive focus to persevere and overcome our inner struggles.

Will you answer God's invitation to dream with Him?

Beloved, He is worth it, and YOU are worth investing in as HIS treasure!

Here are some important values to keep in mind as you pursue your dreams:

Want to receive? Give. Want to make a difference? Be a servant. Be generous. There is MORE joy and MORE brilliance that can shine from you the MORE you care and the MORE you give. As you dream big, ponder how your dream expresses the generosity and goodness of God. John Maxwell said, "Greatness is not defined by what a person receives, but by what a person gives."

KNOW your value. It starts with you and your inner world. If you believe that God created you with great purpose (which He did), then believe you have a powerful calling, destiny, and purpose to a greater degree than you have been! Your dreams, ideas, and concerns all give you clues to your purpose. Chin up, stand tall, walk in great God-confidence - GO YOU!

Tackle your fears and limitations—fear of failure, rejection, change, or even success. Maybe you are thinking too small and not thinking creatively outside the box! Pursue your healing from these fears and reject those limitations you discover you have placed upon yourself.

Find your tribe. Protect your dreams. Seek ways to protect your dream and keep it alive. Write it down. Speak it. Hold onto God's promises. Find a person or a small group of people who you can confide in, who believe in you, and who will support you. Be a support to them as well.

What lies do I believe about myself and my dreams?

What is the truth?

What lies do I believe about you, God? What is the truth?

*Make a bucket list of 20 dreams for starters, and get your mind to begin to dream!
