Human Trafficking

In 2019, Explicit Movement brought in experts in the field who spent two days educating nearly 500 parents, teachers, and community and church leaders on this shockingly prevalent crime. We learned that sex trafficking has touched every community in Hawai’i.
Slavery has not been abolished – it just has a new name: Human Trafficking.

Parent Resources

We know that talking about sex and sexuality with your youth can be challenging for many parents and church leaders. We provide relevant, faith based resources so you can have these conversations with confidence. We know that if you are empowered, you can help young people navigate and avoid damaging experiences and instead, help them to have thriving, healthy relationships in God's timing and design. We are also passionate about helping you to build a strong, positive connection with your youth, so you positively influence their lives, heart to heart.

Equipping Leaders
A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.- John C. Maxwell

As leaders, even though we put on a brave face, sometimes we are faced with circumstances or challenges that we just don't know how to respond to. You are not alone. The world today is changing at a rapid rate and we may find ourselves struggling to know how to bring truth to young people who are surrounded by a worldly perspective. Explicit is here to help. We definitely do not have all the answers, but we are here to support you through some of the tough questions.
Pornography

If pornography is one of the leading sin issues in the church, then why aren't we talking about it more? Well, it isn't an easy thing to talk about. At Explicit Movement, we provide teens, parents, and ministry leaders with an abundance of material so they can confidently address this issue. This is not a topic to shy away from, but one we need to be courageous and speak out about.
